| Purpose: PURPOSE: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a regular meeting of the Parkways Authority. These matters may include discussion of and possible action to approve the following: Approval of the minutes of the Authoritys Board meeting held on December 17, 2025. (Note: There was no Authority Board meeting held in January 2026 due to inclement weather.) Discussion and/or Approval of the following: 1) DMS-1-26 Digital Message Sign Replacements Various Locations along the WV Turnpike and 2) TPS-1-27 Turnpike Signing Renovation MP 9.0 to 36.4 of the WV Turnpike; Discussion and/or Approval of the following purchases: 1) Minimum 250 Gallon Capacity Crack Sealer Unit, 2) One 10,000 LB Forklift, 3) Change Order #17 Spare Parts and SICK Sensors and Components for Toll Upgrade; 4) Purchase of 14,800 Transponders from Kapsch TrafficCom USA, Inc. for the WV Parkways Authority, 5) SALT-1-24 Year 2 Road Salt Contract (Morton Salt) Request for Additional Funds, 6) Budgeted Replacement of WVPA Fleet Units, 7) Razor Systems and PlowGuard Maxx Edges and Hardware for WVPA Inventory, 8) Budgeted Replacement of WVSP Troop 7 Pursuit SUVs, 9) Budgeted Replacement of WVSP Troop 7 Pursuit Truck, 10) Open-End Contract for Toll Maintenance Parts, and 11) Open-End Contract for Attenuator (Crash Cushion) Maintenance Parts; Presentation, Discussion, and Possible Acceptance of the following: 1) Parkways Authoritys Semi-Annual Investment Report dated December 31, 2025, Discussion and possible action of the following: 1) To amend the AIG insurance policy regarding certain exemptions to existing policies as a result of court decisions. This may be discussed in Executive Session, Discussion and/or approval of the following contracts: 1) BSR-2-26 Bridge Shotcrete Repairs Bridges 3045N (Mile 52.04), 3045S (Mile 52.04, and Bridge 3075N&S (Mile 86.57) of the WV Turnpike, 2) BP-2-26 Bridge Painting - Bridges 3072N&S (Mile 81.90), 3081N&S (Mile 90.32), 3085N (Mile 94.20) and 3085S (Mile 94.20) of the WV Turnpike, 3) BSR-1-26 Request for Additional Funds for Temporary Right of Entry Agreement which will cover Railroad Flagging, 4) RR-1-26 Ramp Rehabilitation Contract, 5) RAR-1-25 Rest Area Rehabilitation, 6) BWS-1-26 Bridge Wearing Surface - Bridges 3017N (Mile 28.93), 3038S (Mile 46.89), and 3076N (Mile 89.44) of the WV Turnpike, 7) PM-19 Pavement Striping and Marking Contract Renewal, 8) BFR-1-25 Year 2 Bridge and Facility Retrofit Contract from Mile 9 to 95 in Mercer, Raleigh, Fayette, and Kanawha Counties, WV, and any other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three (3) days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. The Authority reserves the right to go into Executive Session for appropriate and lawful reasons upon proper motion and vote. |
