| Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a regular meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the December 12, 2022, Board Meeting; Approval for HNTB Corp. to design the following projects: 1) 1C-24 Culvert Retrofit design at various locations on the Turnpike; 2) BP-1-24 Bridge spot painting for various bridges along the Turnpike; 3) UST-1-23 Replacement of fuel and diesel underground storage tanks at Parkways Headquarters, Ghent, and Beckley facilities; Review, discussion, and/or possible decision pertaining to the following: 1) Town of Pax Water Tank (Deed of Correction to replace lost deed never recorded and request for additional 30 strip to allow Town of Pax to construct larger water tower to provide water to 2 additional communities). The Town of Pax now services and sells water to about 300 customers.; 2) Limited License Agreement revocable at will after 30-day notice for Beautification, Agricultural, and Similar Purposes Near Collinsdale/Whittaker, Valley District, Fayette County, West Virginia, and, 3) Renewal of Tamaracks Executive Directors Employment Contract; Discussion and/or approval of the following contracts: 1) 1A-23 Pavement Rehabilitation; 2) BP-2-23 Bridge Painting Bridge 3044N at Milepost 51.43; 3) TC-1-23 Tree Cutting Contract Change Order, and 4) TRR-1-23 Tamarack Restroom Renovation Supplemental Agreement, and, any other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. The Authority reserves the right to go into Executive Session for appropriate and lawful reasons upon proper motion and vote. |
