| Purpose: PURPOSE: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a regular meeting of the Parkways Authority. These matters may include discussion of and possible action to approve the following: Approval of the minutes of the Authoritys Board meeting held on April 28, 2026. Discussion and/or Approval of the following design project: 1) RFM-1-27 Rockfall Mitigation MP 80.8 NB. Discussion and/or Approval of the following: 1) HQ-1A-26 Architectural and Engineering Services for the new Charleston Headquarters Building. Review of the Draft WVPA FY 2026 Annual Report prepared by HNTB Consulting Engineers. This will be brought back for Board approval during the June 2026 Board meeting. Discussion and/or approval of the following contracts: 1) FD-1-26 Full Depth Concrete Repairs at Various Locations along the Turnpike; 2) MB-1-26 Median Barrier Replacement Mile 63.80 of the WV Turnpike; 3) 1A-26 Pavement Rehabilitation at Various Locations Along the Turnpike; 4) BSR-1-27 Bridge Shotcrete Repairs Bridge 3053 (Mile 61.20) of the WV Turnpike; 4) BP-1-27 Bridge Painting Bridges 3045N&S (Mile 52.04) of the WV Turnpike; 5) 1C-26 Culvert Retrofit at Various Locations Along the Turnpike; 6) BDR-2-27 Bridge Deck Replacement Bridge 3041N (Mile 48.00) of the WV Turnpike; 7) BFR-1-25 Year 3 Bridge and Facility Retrofit Contract from Mile 9 to 95 in Mercer, Raleigh, Fayette, and Kanawha Counties, WV. Discussion and/or approval of the following Personnel Policies Series I Recruitment and Employment: 1) I-1 Employment Procedures; 2) I-1.1 Background Checks; 3) I-2 Orientation of New Employees; 4) I-3 Temporary and Part-Time Employees; 5) I-4 Equal Employment Opportunity; 6) I-5 Probationary Employment Periods; 7) I-6 Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; and 8) I-7 Nepotism; and any other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three (3) days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. The Authority reserves the right to go into Executive Session for appropriate and lawful reasons upon proper motion and vote. |
