PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: The Community Advancement and Development (CAD) division of the West

Virginia Department of Economic Development (WVDED) is hosting an online public hearing on the proposed

use and distribution of funds for the Weatherization Assistance Program funded by the U.S. Department of

Energy (DOE) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10am. The WVDED is seeking comments from the public on the

proposed use of funds. The plan will guide the expenditure of approximately $4,325,662 annual funding for PY

2025-2026 beginning July 1, 2025. The draft plan is available for public review until close of business Monday,

May 2nd, 2025 and will be submitted to the DOE on or about May 5th, 2025. Additional information about the plan

and hearing are available on the CAD divisions website, including the draft plan and instructions for registering
