| Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the November 9, 2017 Board Meeting; Approval for HNTB to design project BP-1-19 (Bluestone Bridge Painting); Authorization for the General Manager to sign necessary easements, deeds and leases, after approval by General Counsel and General Engineering Consultant, to permit use of Parkways right-of-way by the Regional Development Authority of Kanawha County for the Standard/Paint Creek/Collinsdale Water Line Extension; Presentation of Parkways Authority Workforce Development Study by The Rahall Appalachian Transportation Institute; Discussion and adoption of additional resolutions supporting the Parkways Revenue Series 2018A Bonds, including but not limited to resolutions regarding reimbursement of the expenses of the Parkways Authority incurred in issuing the subject bonds and a clarification of the status of bond counsel/disclosure counsel duties; To review, discuss and take action on the selection of underwriter(s) for the Parkways Revenue Series 2018A Bonds resulting from responses to the request for proposals seeking underwriting services; Authorization for the General Manager to sign an agreement and lease between the Parkways Authority, the WV Division of Highways and the WV Broadband Enhancement Council, after approval by General Counsel and General Consulting Engineer, for right-of-way use by fiber optic companies; Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. |
