Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the September 7, 2017 Board Meeting; Approval of design funds for 2A-18 (mill and inlay on high priority areas along the Turnpike), BDO-1-18 (Skitter Creek Bridge epoxy overlay), and, the Beckley widening project between milepost 40 and 48; Presentation by Suttle & Stalnaker of the Parkways Authoritys audited financial statements for years ended June 30, 2017 and 2016; Approval to purchase coolers and freezers for the Tamarack kitchen and conference center; Purchase equipment as follows: 5 each class 8 cab and chassis severe duty snow plow trucks; 2 each 1-ton dual wheel 4x2 crew cab chassis; 7 each 11 snow plows; Approval of crossing permit for Friendship Cable of Texas, Inc. (dba Suddenlink Communications); Approval of contracts 1A-18 (pavement project from milepost 82.4 to 89.4 northbound) and BMG-1-18 re-bid (Beckley Maintenance heated storage building); Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting.
