| Purpose: Approval of the minutes of the May 5, 2016 Board Meeting; Approval of Parkways Authority Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Budget; Purchase of a self-propelled articulating boom, a crew cab, a 2-ton flatbed truck, 6 plows for tandem trucks, and a plunge-cut rider saw; Tamarack capital needs for exterior doors, and air handler and a back-up generator; Approval of contracts SA-1-16 (construction of new rest area facility at milepost 69), BFR-1-17 (bridge and facilities retrofit for the entire Turnpike), and, FD-1-16 (full depth pavement rehabilitation); Approval of a contract to remediate an area of recent slope instability near milepost 24 southbound; Funds for HNTB to design parking lot paving projects at the Morton Travel Plaza and the Beckley West maintenance facility; Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. |
