| Purpose: PURPOSE:To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the September 5, 2019 Board Meeting; Presentation by Suttle & Stalnaker of the Parkways Authoritys audited financial statements for years ended June 30 2018 and 2019; Approval to award purchase orders for the following: Forty-two (42) Digital Wide Band Mobile Radios for West Virginia State Police Troop 7; Four (4) 6500 Gallon Capacity Liquid Storage Double Wall Tanks (2 for Standard and 2 for Princeton); Approval to award the following Contracts: BP-2-20 Bridge Painting - Bridges 3019N, 3020N and 3051; BWC-1-20 Beckley West Crane; BDR-1-20 and BDR-2-10 Bridge Deck Replacement at Milepost 10.89; Agreement with CDM Smith to provide a 2019 Bond Grade Traffic and Revenue Study which will, among other things, provide an update to its 2018 Traffic and Revenue estimates; A new Revenue Generating Sponsorship Proposal from Travelers Marketing to provide Safe Phone Zones at Parkways Rest Areas, Welcome Center, Travel Plazas and Tamarack. This program pays Parkways to be allowed to promote these facilities with signs inside the facilities and outside (extolling the Sponsorship of the private sector Sponsor) as safe and convenient locations for traveling motorists to use their electronic devises in an undistracting atmosphere; Update of Parkways Toll System Upgrade; West Virginia State Police Troop 7 Promotions; and other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. |
