Executive Session, under authority in West Virginia Code Sections 6-9A-4(b)(2)(A), (b)(9), and (b)(12) to discuss: (a) Legal, personnel, and deliberative matters, (b) Matters not considered public records, and (c) Matters related to construction planning, commercial competition matters, the purchase, sale or lease of property, and/or the investment of public funds; 6. Discussions Emanating from Executive Session; 7. Approval of minutes of the September 21, 2018 regular meeting and October 23, 2018 special meeting; 8. Committee Reports, including (a) November 8, 2018 Audit Committee Meeting, (b) November 8, 2018 Joint Audit and Finance Committee Meeting - Including board presentation/overview of FY 2018 Financial Statements and Audit Report for West Virginia University, (c) November 8, 2018 Academic Affairs and Accreditation Committee Meeting, and (d) November 8, 2018 Joint Finance and Facilities and Revitalization and Strategic Plans and Initiatives Committee Meeting; 9. Presidents Report; 10. Information Items (Written Only), including (a) Report on Real Estate Transactions First Quarter of FY 2018-2019, (b) Textbook Affordability Update, (c) Changing the name of the Department of Ophthalmology to the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and (d) Executive Leadership Annual Reports for Academic Affairs, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Health Sciences, Office of Research, Strategic Initiatives, Student Life, and University Relations; 11. Consent Agenda (for Board Review and Action) for: a. Termination of Graduate Certificate: Gerontology, (b)Termination of Graduate Certificate: Womens Health, (c) Approval of New Certificate: Community Development Policy and Practice, (d) Appointment to County Extension Committees, and (e) Receipt and Acceptance of 2018 Financial Statements and Audit Report; 12.
