| Purpose: Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 147 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and the Treasury Regulations promulgated with respect thereto (collectively the Code), that the West Virginia Economic Development Authority (the Authority), or an authorized representative of the Authority, will hold a public hearing at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, in Council Chambers at Richwood City Hall, 6 White Avenue, Richwood, West Virginia, regarding the proposed extension of maturity of the Authoritys $4,000,000 Variable Rate Demand Revenue Bonds (Collins Hardwood Company, LLC Project), Series 2005 (the Series 2005 Bonds). The extension of maturity of the Series 2005 Bonds and the payment of the costs thereof, the costs of issuance of any refunding revenue bonds and related costs are proposed to be effected through amendments to the Series 2005 Bonds and related documents, the issuance by the Authority of its refunding revenue bonds in a principal amount of not more than $4,500,000 (the Bonds), or a combination thereof (the Extension). |
