| Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the August 10, 2017 Board Meeting; Design funds for Barrier C (Chelyan) replacement of canopy roof; Approval of Memorandum of Agreement with Marshall University Research Corporation, on behalf of Rahall Transportation Institute, to conduct a workforce development study for the WV Parkways Authority; Purchase of four State Police AWD SUV police cruisers; Purchase of one State Police pursuit rated vehicle AWD unmarked sedan; Purchase of two State Police pursuit rated AWD sedans; Purchase of a mobile asphalt recycler; Approval of contracts: 1C-18 (culvert retrofit); BDR-1-17 (bridge deck replacement, bridge 3019 just south of Toll Plaza A northbound); BDR-2-17 (bridge deck replacement, bridge 3020 just north of Toll Plaza A northbound) GR-1-18 (on-call guardrail); PL-1-18 (parking lot paving at Standard, Beckley and Princeton Maintenance facilities); and, BMG-1-18 (Beckley Maintenance heated storage building); Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. |
