| Purpose: The West Virginia Board of Education will meet to review information regarding the Nicholas County Board of Educations request to close and consolidate schools in advance of a Rule to Show Cause hearing scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on July 11 in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County. The purpose of the meeting will be to help expedite a final resolution of the matters pending before the Circuit Court so that federal funding will not be in jeopardy. The agenda for this meeting will be posted at http://wvde.state.wv.us (Media Room) prior to the meeting. |
