| Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the June 8, 2017 Board Meeting; Approval of Design Funds for Project PL-1-18 for parking lot paving at Standard, Beckley, and Princeton Maintenance facilities and portions of the Beckley Travel Plaza; Approval of Design Funds for BP-2-18 (spot painting various bridges); Request for crossing permit from EQT; Request for core borings on Parkways property by Alpha Natural Resources; Approval of contract BP-1-18 (spot painting on various bridges); Approval of purchase order for bridge repair materials; Approval of West Virginia Association of Rehabilitation Facilities contract to provide janitorial services for Princeton Welcome Center and Milepost 69 Rest Area; Action to direct the Authoritys General Manager and staff to work with the Authoritys General Counsel to engage Consulting Engineers and Traffic Engineers, along with Bond Counsel, to collaborate with Public Resources Advisory Group for the purpose of providing needed engineering and other studies for a new toll rate structure, to include a new single fee program, for the purpose of selling toll revenue bonds to support road construction and to provide a formal resolution ratifying and confirming all those actions at the next regular or special meeting of the Parkways Board; Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting. |
