Purpose: To consider and act upon all matters that may properly come before a meeting of the Parkways Authority Board. These matters may include discussion of and possible Board action on the following: Approval of the minutes of the March 9, 2017 Board Meeting; Approval of design funds for contract BP-1-18 (spot painting on various bridges); Draft Needs Assessment and Five Year Program by Consulting Engineers; Approval Extension for Tamarack Advertising Services Agreement with Bulldog Creative Services; Contract Purchase of: Eight (8) each Mack snow plows; One (1) each 1-Ton Dual Wheel 4x2 Crew Cab/Chassis; One (1) Each 1.5-Ton Crew Cab/Chassis; and, One (1) each 1-Ton Dual Wheel 4x4 Extended Cab/Chassis; Approval to enter into agreement for Market Based Revenue Opportunities; Approval of contracts: 1-C-17 (culvert retrofit and cleaning); BDO-1-17 (protective bridge deck overlay); BP-2-17 (bridge spot painting); GC-2-16 (Beckley Gas Canopy); GL-1-17 (Gas Line Beckley Travel Plaza); Salt remover for washing bridge steelwork and concrete decks; roadway and facility signs sheeting and materials; smooth protective concrete coating for bridge parapet walls and substructures; Contract extension of BFR-1-17 (bridge and facilities retrofit); Other items which may become apparent or need attention and may be added to the business agenda of the meeting; attention is called to the fact that the agenda of the meeting will be available three days in advance by calling 304-926-1900 or at the website www.wvturnpike.com; items of business may be added to the agenda up to 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting.
